Message My name is Hector Santiago and I am the new business manager for AshSPEC LLC. I wanted to introduce myself and give some background on who I am as well as what we have been planning for AshSPEC over the past 4 months. Some of you have had the opportunity to meet me at the ZNationals event and others have known me over the years I have been a Z enthusiast. For those of you who do not know me, please allow me to introduce myself.

I have been an owner of Nissan Z's since 1998 - owning a red 1990 2+2 and currently owning a burgandy 1992 NA. I have always been intrigued with these vehicles, namely the styling originally which has turned into seeing what these cars are capable of.

I have owned two of my own businesses previously and have run several others. Final Shop Paintball (owner) was my first step into business ownership, revolving around retail sales and offering a play field with events for customers. My second business, V&A Events Production (owner), consisting of highering musical talent and organizing shows. I have operated two restaurants and acted as assistant manager in a construction company. I have also held management positions in the gaming industry.

I met Ash 5 years ago after seeing several Z's at his place and stopped by to meet him. When I pulled in I was greeted by a nice guy who introduced himself as Ash Powers and we spoke at length about Z's. I have had Ash service my Z several times over the years and was always impressed with his quality of work and abilities. The work was always top notch and I was always satisfied with the work. 4 months ago I stopped by for some suspension work and conversation arose regarding his business - I was puzzled as to why Ash wasn't bigger than what he was given the talents and skills he possessed. He expressed some of the hardaches and troubles he had experienced as being a one-man operation trying to manage a business himself. Realizing the potential that Ash's business has and having my own attraction for the Z we started discussing where the business could go. It became obvious to me that the problems that were going on could have been solved easily by having good management on hand and having additional employees to handle the different aspects of business. Ash and I have been working on this new business model for the last 4 months now.

In addition to myself coming on at AshSPEC, we also have two additional employees to help handle the manufacturing, shipping, and customer service.

We are currently building inventory of all AshSPEC products and as some of you may have seen we are already beginning to offer these products to the community as inventory is made. We will continue to bring the top-notch products you are all used to receiving in the past as well as many new products yet to be released.

I know in the past some have had issues with Ash in getting products shipped on time. I can assure the community that these things will no longer happen. For those of you who have had issues in the past please accept my apologies - we are turning a new page for the company and hope the community will turn that page with us. At this point I would like to let anyone know that if they have any outstanding orders, email us with whatever that is and I will personally see to it that it is taken care of.

I have been a passionate fan of Z's for a long time now and am very enthusiastic about the opportunity I have at AshSPEC. I am not just a "bean counter" in the company. I feel that the future for the company is bright and the sky is the limit with whatever we put our minds to. I am more than willing to take any advice or criticism the community has so that we can continue to bring you great products and finally, great service to go with it. Ash decided to let go of the old manager (LOL) and I look forward to starting a solid relationship with this community, getting to know the customers and their needs and concerns, and being an asset to both the company as well as the community.
